Can an education voucher be used?

The training can be financed by the Federal Employment Agency, the Federal Armed Forces Vocational Training Service (BFD), after an accident by the employers' liability insurance association or after a longer period of unemployment by the pension insurance with a training voucher.

How long does the training take?

The training period is 10.5 months.

How does the certification examination by tekom e. V. work?

During the training, you register independently for the next possible examination with tekom e. V. and receive an examination date. The tecteam Bildungsinstitut ensures that the examination takes place shortly after completion of the training. Once you have passed the examination, you will receive a specified certificate from tekom and may use the job title "Technical Writer (tekom)".

What are the career prospects for technical writers?

The opportunities and career prospects on the job market for trained, qualified technical writers remain good. We actively help our graduates to find a job or an internship before and after obtaining the tekom Expert certification.(Researched job offers for technical writers)
