Whether it’s Industry 4.0, improving serviceability, or general competitive pressure—technical documentation is becoming increasingly important.
Companies must establish procedures and processes that enable them to produce, translate, and distribute data on a large scale—all while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
On the one hand, this means that more attention is being paid to content and structure; on the other hand, tools such as content management systems and translation memory systems are opening up new possibilities.

Practical Workshops

To provide guidance in this area, we have developed a series of workshops in collaboration with various software vendors. In each workshop, we’ll work with different vendors to demonstrate how a content management system (CMS) and a translation memory system (TMS) interact throughout the process. You’ll learn how these systems work together by completing a task we’ve defined in advance.
The series begins in late April (April 27, 2016, 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., 99.00 EUR per person) with the vendors docufy (CMS) and SDL Trados (TMS).
The next session is scheduled for late September (September 20, 2016). There, you’ll get to experience SCHEMA (CMS) and across (TMS). Additional sessions with other vendors will follow.
