DIN EN ISO 20607: Safety of machinery - Operating instructions - General principles for design

A new draft of DIN EN ISO 20607 has been available since this month. The standard deals with requirements for the design of operating instructions for machinery. These requirements are a supplement to chapter 6.4 of DIN EN ISO 12100, which deals with user information for machinery. DIN EN ISO 20607 deals with the safety-relevant content, corresponding structures and the presentation of the operating instructions.

The revision mainly relates to the requirements for operating instructions in the new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.

The draft is currently available in German and English.
