DIN EN 50524: Data Sheet Specifications for Photovoltaic Inverters
This European Standard describes the specifications to be included in data sheets for photovoltaic inverters. It defines the minimum information that must be provided with photovoltaic inverters. In this context, a “data sheet” refers to a technical description separate from the photovoltaic inverter itself. Compared to the previous version, the new version no longer includes the information regarding the nameplate.

DIN EN ISO 7010: Graphic Symbols—Safety Colors and Safety Signs—Registered Safety Signs
A new edition of DIN EN ISO 7010 will be published in July. The standard addresses safety colors and symbols for accident prevention, fire protection, protection against health hazards, and escape routes. The standard has been editorially revised and incorporates all amendments A1 through A9 from the previous version and from ISO 20712-1:2008.

DIN/TR 4844-4: Graphic Symbols—Safety Colors and Safety Signs—Part 4: Guidelines for the Use of Safety Markings
The technical report DIN/TR 4844-4 contains recommendations and explanations regarding the practical application of safety signage in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7010, DIN ISO 3864, and DIN 4844. The report primarily addresses in-house signage.
The technical report is available only in German.
VDI Terminology Database
Starting this month, the VDI has made its internal terminology database available to non-VDI employees as well. The database contains terms and their definitions. Searches can be performed in two ways: as a free-text search or by subject area.
Currently, the database contains entries in German and English.
